Android app
The TurboDL engine on Android, with a built-in browser that finds the files of a page.
The Android app runs the same download engine as the desktop app (segmented downloads, resume, queue, categories) and adds a built-in browser that finds the files of the page you are on and hands them to the engine with the page's cookies, so downloads behind a login work without any extra step.
It needs Android 9 or later. There is no iOS version: iOS forces every browser onto its own engine and does not allow the ad blocker.
Downloads
The home screen lists the downloads by category (swipe between the tabs) and by status (chips). Tap a download for its details (segments, speed, time left); press and hold it for its actions: pause, resume, cancel, retry, open, share, copy the link, move it in the queue, remove it with or without its file.
Add (top right) takes a link: TurboDL asks the server for the name and the size while you type. The queue starts with the app (Settings → General); downloads keep going in the background, with a notification showing the total progress and a Pause all button.
Files are saved in Download/TurboDL/<Category>/ and show up in the Files and Gallery apps. On Android 9 and 10 the app asks for the storage permission before the first download.
Browser
Open Browser from the side menu. The address bar takes a link or a search (DuckDuckGo by default, other engines in Settings → Browser). Tabs, bookmarks and history are kept between launches.
When the page holds videos or music, a round button appears at the bottom right with their count. Tap it to see them grouped by category, with their size, then Download one or Download all. A link that turns into a download asks first (name, size, category); turn that off with Ask before downloading a link.
HLS video streams (.m3u8, split into .ts pieces) are saved as one file, in the best quality offered, named after the page. Live streams, DASH streams (.mpd), protected videos (DRM) and players that build the video in the page (blob: links, as on YouTube) are not supported.
A long press on an image offers to open it in a new tab, download it, copy its link or share it, even below an overlay or as a background image. A password-protected page (HTTP 401) asks for the user name and password; its files are then downloaded with them. Translating a page (Translate) translates the other pages of the same site by default, until Original.
Ad blocker
The browser installs uBlock Origin from addons.mozilla.org at the first launch (it needs a connection; a failed install is tried again at the next launch). Turn it off, or open its own settings, in Settings → Browser. uBlock Origin is downloaded from Mozilla, not shipped inside TurboDL.
